A long bike ride

Tuesday we were up thinking our bike ride began at 8:30, but it actually began at 11. We came home and I worked on assembling the new Gevalia coffee maker. It was not nearly as nice as the one we have in North Carolina. It has no timer and is more difficult to fill. We now have 3 coffee makers here but will sell one or two at the end of the season. We met around 12 of the bike club and rode over 5 miles to a neighboring park, Victoria Palms, for lunch. The wind was light but behind us on the way. We had a Mexican buffet and then rode back. The wind was now stronger and in our faces. It was a difficult ride back and seemed much longer. When we returned I noticed that our friend had fixed our golf cart. I worked a while on my first sermon while Evelyn showered and began work on supper. We then took a ride in our working golf cart so Evelyn could get a package from a friend. We came home and I watched my sports shows while Evelyn finished supper. I also applied some “Awesome” to the carped on the steps inside the house. They get quite dirty and we have to clean them frequently while here. I washed the dishes from the day and Evelyn worked on making a pie for Thanksgiving dinner. We might play golf tomorrow morning.
