Thanksgiving Eve

Wednesday was exercise and Evelyn was ecstatic because 5 people came. One was a man who had to leave before the end because “I am worn out”. We ate a bowl of cereal and went to a Bible study on Proverbs. The study was over around 11:45 and we drove to the Subway to use a coupon. I went there because I was hungry and knew it would take time for Evelyn to fix lunch. We enjoyed the sandwich and then went to Wal-Mart to get some items we needed for tomorrow and Sunday. We tried to get the car inspected but the place I went last year was closed. We came home and worked on trimming our cactus and Evelyn worked on cleaning our porch railing with a great product called Awesome. It also works on carpet as a spot remover. We had a tarpaulin that we put on the ground and loaded it with cactus paddles. We had used this procedure on other weeds two days ago, but this time I didn’t put all the cactus paddles on it because those are heavy. I could hardly drag the tarp to the front of the house, and I have twice as much left to trim. I wanted to get the residue to the front because Wednesday is one of the days the maintenance guys pick up all the trimmings in the park. We went to the Thanksgiving eve service at church after we shared one of the pumpkin blizzards at Dairy Queen. This is a fantastic year in that we have shared two already! I can hardly stand some of the things the pastor does and keep praying that I don’t do as poorly. We just came home and went to bed.
